My name is Susan Mulcahy and i'm an online freelance writer. I've been writing for over ten years, am married with two children from a previous marriage and work fulltime as a physical therapist. I know all about debt, having incurred it at an early age and having never been without it, unfortunately, since. I declared bankruptcy six years ago and haven't applied for a major credit card since. I have learned to live without them, thank goodness. I have found, however, that i am still being turned down for credit from medium-sized businesses such as Home Depot and retail stores.
