It is very important for most people. If you pay cash for everything then you would care less about it. It is very helpful in so many ways, you even get lower car inshurance rates if you have good credit.
I have read "The Secret" and I have the video both are very good. It gave me a whole new outlook on life, money and everything.
I have also found that a great book to help you look at money differently is "One Minute Millionaire" by Mark Victor Hanson and Rober G. Allen.
