Of course we have to pay taxes . How does one run the country without any revenue? If we need roads, airports, railway stations, transportation, food supply - everything is taken care of by the tax that we pay to the government..
I agree, by not going out you tend to spend less. I too go out only when there is need . Nowadays I make a ist while I go for my grocery shopping so that I dont buy anything else other than what is needed
