Bio
Hello, I'm Carolyn, otherwise known as Mum what's for tea? I gave up fulltime employment for the birth of my 14 year old son, and I've never regretted giving up the 9-5 grind.
What I do regret giving up is the money I was earning. I'm married, and we breed dogs, which keeps me busy, I write, I dabble, I'm still searching for what I want to do when I grow up. Perhaps I can be Peta Pan and never grow up. Trying new jobs has been fun, but the only jobs I've loved are cuddling puppies and writing.
I currently have eight baby puppies, an older pup and five adult dogs. I like taking the show dogs to shows and meeting up with my friends, but I love staying home writing about my dogs and my life even more. I live in the country, on a small block, but bigger than what I'd be living on in the suburbs. I could never go back to suburban living. I could die for a coffee shop close to home though!
I've learnt things about money, through living in relative poverty, being flush with cash and blowing it, by listening to family and friends, and reading and always learning.

Well, I bit the bullet and made the appointment. I scratched around and located some of the items the consultant told me to bring. On the day I showed up and waited, pondering the wonderful pieces of advice I might receive. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I have to say I wasn't disappointed. ...
Well, Holkschter Kennels have eight beautiful puppies, just over five weeks of age today. In the past, we had pups, sold them, splurged on the money and moved on, no better off financially, really. Now, I'm intent on not going down that path. I'm firmly committed to doing it better this time.
