I am a single Mom to two, and have started the journey to dig myself out of a $49,000 debt, $39,000 of that is from Student loans. My goal is to get half of my credit card debt paid off and to start tackling my student loan debt. Much of my debt was accumulated by following the advice of relatives who really didn't even have a clue. Now, I listen to myself and use only the advice that I think is "good or great" advice. Buying on credit is never a good choice.
I am learning to shop more with coupons, and looking for really good grocery buys.
I am a teacher with an expired provisional certificate, and someday (when student loans are paid off) I would like to get that reinstated.
I enjoy the simple things in life, barbequing, going on picnics, the beach, reading, writing, and going to the movies.
