Court date for credit card debt - I think it's from a law office hired by the collection agency to collect for them - because perhaps it's been a year or so and you haven't sufficiently explained yourself to them? Or you did not reach an agreement with regards to just how much you can afford to pay...

And I know that this is mostly a debtor or consumer thread, but the creditors/collection agencies have at one point asked themselves the question: What are collection attorneys? Do I need them?
