Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table at which he's fed.
Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes are the rule.
Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat.
Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries, then Tax his tears.
Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways to tax his ass
Tax all he has, Then let him know that you won't be done till he has no dough.
When he hollers, Tax him some more, Tax him till he's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in which he's laid.
Put these words upon his tomb, "Taxes drove me to my doom..."
When he's gone, Do not relax, its time to apply the inheritance tax.
Yes these are relatively NEW TAXES, because, I’m from the government and I’m here to help.

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What the hell happened? Can you spell "politicians"?
And... I still have to "press 1" for English.
I found this following text while surfing the Inter-Net in the Project Gutenberg Web sight.
As a child I was taught by my parents and was taught in school that Communism and the Soviet Union where to be feared as my enemy. Things now have drastically changed for me. The Soviet Union no longer exists as a feared power, and I have learned, as a combatant, much fear of my own government. Thus I find it odd that the following outline aptly describes what conditions the United States Government and the States are currently imposing on us today.
The
Ten Planks of the
COMMUNIST MANIFESTO are as follows:
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A
heavy progressive or
graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance. (
Probate)
4. Confiscation (
now called seizure) of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (
Federal Reserve Banks)
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. (
Federal Control/Licenses)
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (
Fed/State Corp. Monopolies)
8. Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. (
Fed/State Regulation)
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production. (
Public Schools)
If Communism is to be feared today, we must fear those who have imposed it upon us. From the foregoing it appears all Americans are compelled to be practicing Communists in one form or another. The United States Constitution did not impose it - thus it came from else where.
It is becoming self-evident, that the primary threat to the Liberty of the American People comes not from foreign shores or from foreign tyrants or dictators. Rather that threat comes from within, and from those individuals entrusted to preserve that Liberty. The majority of individuals in United States Congress and the United States Government as a whole are nothing more than an association of scoundrels that Mark Twain had aptly described.
