Do you think for sale by owner houses are cheaper because you aren't paying for agent fees? I looked at a FSBO house once and I didn't like that the owner followed me around explaining and defending every detail.
I wouldn't plan on saving money with a for-sale-by-owner (FSBO) house. Many are overpriced to begin with, plus, the reason they aren't using an agent is because they want to pocket what is saved by not using an agent. They certainly aren't selling on their own to save the buyer money.
