Health Insurance Medical Exam
We're applying for health insurance and part of the process is we have to have a blood test that will supposedly tell us (them) the likelihood of us developing any one of thousands of conditions in the future.
I find that a bit hard to believe. Can a simple blood test really tell you how likely you are to develop cancer, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, etc? If so, why is this only done when you're applying for insurance and not part of a regular medical exam?
The real reason is money. If they can predict as they say they can your likelihood of developing a disease they can make it an exclusion on the policy. In other words, they can say if you develop cancer for example, we won't pay for it.
You gotta love those suede shoe boys. They'll screw you anyway they can.
I totally understand them trying to CYA on the money aspect of it. I'm just shocked such a test is even available, and even more shocked it's not part of a regular checkup if it is.
I think that the health insurance companies are absolutely pointless. If you aren't going to insure people when they need to be insured due to health issues then why are you even here for? I mean no one will ever forever be healthy, no matter how you see it. It upsets me that this world is totally based off of money.
That doesn't seem quite legal to me. And you can make someone think they are going to get sick. Horrible!
Any way we have to accept for that even though it has been made only for the money purpose. Health insurance are needed for everyones life's but its very much needed for everyone to have medical test and to have an clear record over their fitness. That's not a useful task made for us by the insurance company.
