Gambling and Debt

We live in an area where there are several casinos nearby, and gambling is a common pasttime for many people.  I've seen friends get themselves in a deep hole because they start using their charge cards to fund their gambling addiction.  I think gambling is a very dangerous thing because you never really know if you're the one who is going to have a problem.  Have you ever gone in debt due to gambling?

I live in Reno, NV and the temptation to go to a casino to gamble is very strong. However, the temptation to keep my money in my pocket is stronger. Hence, wife mate and I go to eat and not gamble. Every once in awhile we throw a 20 at the slot machines. Sometimes we win and sometimes we say we had fun.

I hope I never resort to debt to fund a gambling excursion. That is not one of the smartest moves anyone can make. But, having seen some people who have done it, I know it is being done. In NV the casinos have to provide a pamphlet in an easily accessible area for people who might have a gambling problem to pick up. It has advice plus a toll free number to call for help.

Nope. I never have in that situation. Its really hard and i can said its not worth if you got debt from gambling. Its not good and you need to pay that debt fast. Its different  right? We never can pay that debt of gambling little by little every month. So, if you still fine to lost money at gambling. Its fine. But never make it reach until you need to debt with others guys. Its not good and better you think about your food money or your family. What they can eat if you spend your money to gambling. Its fine if you win, but if you lose. What you can do after that?

i haven`t been in debt because of gambling.i have to say that i like gambling and i do it evry time i have to chance but it thing is that i set an amount of money that i`m going to spend and never go over it.if i win i sometimes play a part of my winnings but never go over the restricted sum.

Gambling is a very dangerous addiction. once it catches a person, then it stays with him for a very long term even if he loose everything in due time, it becomes hard for him to to leave his passion. We must be aware of its consequences and never fall in its pray.

For gamblers, gambling is an easy way to make money without any efforts. Once started, they just don't know when to stop. Evewn if they are all out of cash after facing continuous loses, they will still seek for ways to seek some gambling capitals to get even. It has broken many homes and I honestly hope that gambling will be banished from this earth of ours.
