One of the best things you can do to change your financial situation is to soak up knowledge like a sponge.  Check your local t.v. and radio listings and find out when Dave Ramsey, Suze Orman, and other financial experts are on.  Go to the library and check out books related to managing debt.  Also, check the websites of popular authors and speakers on this topic.  You may also want to check with your local church, as some churches now offer courses on debt management in a small group setting.  Knowledge is power, so get powerful and destroy your debt!

I'll just add you probably want to take the advice on those TV shows with a grain of salt.  I was watching some 'How to Become a Millionaire' show on MSNBC about a month ago.  The advice they were giving was a joke! Not to mention the guests appearing in over the top tuxedos to make them look more important than they are. ;-)I went through the Crown Study at my church and have to say that was the most solid advice I'd ever been given.

Yes. I can see some good tips today and i'm still student. I know many thing about financial, debt and business. I think its needed to know some good. I agree that knowledge is power and i believe many people already know about that right? So, learn as many as we can when we still alive. Knowledge is like heaven!

Even though everyone know and agree that knowledge is power, most of them are just to lazy to dig more information especially when it comes to financial knowledge. Most of them just waiting to be spoon-fed. This couldn't be truer especially for those who are currently having stable financial standings. I guess it might be too late to do so when you are hit  by any financial mishaps that are so rampant nowadays.

i think you are correct in that we tend to put off acquiring knowledge till we desperately need it and it can be too late then.
