A Possible Source Of Health Insurance

It is no secret the number of people w/o health insurance is in the millions. This is a tragedy in my opinion. I don't know how many of these people are eligible to join trade associations or business groups but if they can they should look into it if for no other reason than these groups generally offer some sort of group medical coverage.

I sell life and health and I can say unequivocally some coverage is better than no coverage. Showing an insurance card when you walk into a hospital automatically elevates your status from charity case to one who can pay in the eyes of the admissions staff. It shouldn't be that way but it is.

If you aren't eligible for membership, check with your Secretary of State to see if your State has some sort of program in place. I have a list of them in the resources section on my other website. If you don't want to do that, type your state's name and the words secretary of state immediately after it and you'll be taken to their home page.

I hope this helps some people.

I guess getting old makes one forget things. I was reviewing my posts on my other blog and came across this post:

I believe the two links you are about to see will help everyone find free and low cost health care. I make no guarantees on the quality of care by the way.

1. http://www.ask.hrsa.gov/pc/
HRSA-supported health centers care for you, even if you have no health insurance. You pay what you can afford, based on your income.

2. Information Networks and Other Information Sources  (this is an extensive list of sources)

I made a few days ago. It speaks for itself and I hope it helps anyone looking for health care.
