Hi, I live in Idaho and am having to file bankruptcy, please no one tell me to get counseling. I have been receiving workman's comp since December of '09, had surgery on my elbow February 2010. I recently lost my job because they couldn't hold it any longer and the doctor hadn't released me. I've had this job since 2000 so now I've been released from Doc and unemployed and just beginning to collect unemployment @ $186.00 a week, I have absolutely no choice but to file bankruptcy without a lawyer. My question is this ~ I just received an independent evaluation and have been rated for workman's comp., if I receive any monetary amount can the court take it from me? I really need this money to move to a bigger town where I can get work, as it is, the town I live in has 1100 people and no work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Lizzy
