My mom is working 70+ hours a week, and it is mainly to pay for medical bills for my dad, and credit cards. She says if she doesn't continue working, then they won't be able to get the medication dad needs to survive! What are her options? It seems like she is working herself to an early grave (and living a colorless life along the way) just to keep my dad from dying. Any help ***GREATLY*** appreciated!!!

Hello there, thank you for stopping by destroydebt. To help you understand your mother's debts a little bit better, let me classify them for you: The
medical bills are what's considered
SECURED debts (meaning it was tied to something valuable that is why it was approved) and they can be eliminated via debt consolidation loans. To learnmore about it, here's an article
http://www.destroydebt.com/blogs/jessicajanes21gmailcom/270-medical-bills-consolidation.html. The credit card bills are classified under unsecured debt (there is nothing that'ttied to it, no collateral, if you don't pay, you don't stand to lose anything). This debtcan be negotiated with the creditors, depending on the amount and status.It is the type of debt that destroydebt.com can help you with, just fill out a formhere and speak with a debt expert for free. Hope that helps;
