But it's basically about www.fastdebtconsolidation.net not asking for a collateral when a consumer applies for a loan.

If your credit cards, medical bills or personal loans have become overwhelming, we can reduce your debt so you can pay it off fast and be done with it forever....- One Low Monthly Payment - No Home Required - Debt Free in 24-36 months"

Posted on May 21, 2010 at 5:28 am Okay, so I don't know about www.fastdebtconsolidation.net - but I searched The Debt Answer on BBB, here's what came up --- D- rating (reason? - Length of time business has been operating.) Type of Business: Debt Settlement Companies, Credit & Debt Counseling, This company first came to our attention in July 2007. We are attempting to develop more information on the company. At the present time we do not have enough information to issue a full report.

Posted on May 21, 2010 at 5:32 am I am getting dizzy with this, so I decided to do what we should've done in the first place - actually check out the website www.fastdebtconsolidation.net ..... and yes, The Debt Answer came up! One and the same. I read that BBB report http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/debt-settlement-companies/the-debt-answer-in-dallas-tx-90060642 and apparently it changed owners... so ...mystery solved?

If they're that difficult to figure out, I suppose I should ask about other debt relief options for me. I just want a straight up program that would help me eliminate my credit card debts. Can you recommend a company?

Posted on May 21, 2010 at 6:18 am Hey, unfortunately we can't recommend a company, and regarding debt relief programs , depending on your total debt amount and account status, you can choose from either debt settlement or credit counseling. Debt settlement would help you be debt free in less than 3 years, while credit counseling in 3-5 years.

Posted on May 21, 2010 at 6:22 am Hi le roy, and just to add to mooi's comment, debt settlement is all about reducing your entire balance to more or less half, while credit counseling and its debt management plan is about negotiating your interest rates. Debt settlement is best for large amount of debt, $10k or more and account status past due. Debt Management Plan is better for $10k balances or less and accounts current. Call several companies and then compare rates and services.
