Hi, I don't mean to pry but I wonder why you're asking aboutpersonal credit services...are you planning on taking out a loan, to perhaps pay off another debt? If yes, and your debt type is unsecured, your credit is in poor shape, then perhaps you should look into debt relief. Depending on your total balance and account status (regardless of the state of your credit) you can choose to do either credit counseling (which negotiates your interest rates) or debt settlement (negotiates your entire balance).Taking out a loan might not be the best option for consumers with bad credit and unsecured debts.

I agree, taking out a loan would only add to your debts, and would only prolong your payment time. With credit counseling, you can be debt free in 3-5 years (granted that the creditors agree to work with the agency and that you didn't miss payments). With debt settlement, you can be debt free in three years or less. If you want to avail of a free initial debt consultation, please feel free to fill out a form here at destroydebt.com and should you decide to that debt relief can help you, get matched up to the right company, free of charge.

If you're wondering if debt settlement is leagal, it is. And if you're concerned about its legitimacy or at least the debt settlement company's - here's how you you'd know - Guidelines in choosing:::-The settlement company's program must have a fast completion time. 12-36 months. -The program must be able to protect and improve the consumer's credit standing. -Must be a member of the Better Business Bureau, BBB, for at least 5 years. -Must also have a good standing with the Chamber of Commerce -A Member of TASC - The Association Of Settlement Companies and the IAPDA or the International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators

Right, and to add to that list - -When you give them a call, the debt settlement company should offer free consultation. They should not promiseor guarantee that enrollment in their program would stop all collection calls. Observetheir customer service, and ask about their negotiators - thecompany should have skilled, informed (current with the debt reliefindustry trends), certified, and personable.
