what's the best solution to debt with credit cards?-- that depends on a couple of factors. 1)your debt type 2) debt amount in total & account status.

Debt with credit cards - is a case that doesn't need bankruptcy or debt consolidation loan. The correct debt relief program could eliminate the debt.

Speaking of correct debt relief program - there are two choices - debt settlement and credit counseling. Debt settlement is for debt amounts $10k or more and accounts past due. Credit counseling is for relatively lower debt amounts, $10k and below, and current accounts.

Debt with credit cards - you can negotiate this yourself with the creditors or the collection agency (whichever has your account). Try to find out because they'd offer you different settlement percentages.

Here is one method of debt elimination that I covered in a blog post of mine not too long ago.  Here's an excerpt: "Credit card debt elimination is a process using the Fair Credit Billing Act (“FCBA”) by which the consumer disputes charges on their account as inaccurate, or simply requests an “accounting” to verify the charges were billed accurately, the interest rate was applied accurately, and all payments were applied properly and in a timely fashion.  With credit card companies using different interest rates on different portions of the balance, and payments sometimes not being applied upon receipt, accounting errors by credit card companies are quite common.  Upon a suspicion of a possible accounting error, or a good faith belief that one may have occurred, the consumer can begin the debt elimination process." The concept is pretty interesting if you are trying to get out of debt, and it works better than you may think.

For solve this problem the first thing to do is to stop creating more.Keep a record of all of your conversations with creditors and include the date, time and the person's name you spoke with. It may come in handy later if there is a dispute over payment or settlement arrangements. Don't argue with collectors or use profane language. Your phone call is often recorded and it may make creditors less likely to offer you a favorable settlement amount.0-balance-transfers-credit-card-mbna | Mbna europe
