Anyone planning on using their tax return to pay off bills?
Or are you just going to use it for a vacation, to buy a TV, to get a new car, etc? I bet 90% of the people on here won't even bother to pay off any credit card debt with it.
I use half of it to get ahead in bills. The other half I invest in my websites..:D
I'm going to use my tax return to get eye surgery, I always wanted to have laser surgery. I think that would be an investment. No more glasses. (Glasses can be very expensive.)
I plan on using my money to pay off a credit card bill. I'm not looking to get much back. just enough to take care of that bill.
When I get my tax return I plan on saving it so hopefully I can buy a new car
by the summer. It will make a nice down payment.
I'm going to owe money, which shows poor planning on my part. I think getting a huge refund also reflects poor planning. If you can come out about even, you can use that extra money during the year to avoid debt or to make payments and avoid interest.
I'll be using mine to do some repairs around the house. It's good to be able to get one lump sum.

I used my refund to pay some bills and to take a trip. I was surprised I got as much as I did.
