Best way to make money off websites
Ok I have a website and have about 2000 unqiues each month. I thought about doing a bit of advertising to get a few more people but was wondering what were some of the best ways people found to make money with websites.
Since I have my own a small graphics business from home, and I like surfing the net. I plan on openning a graphic website. that way I can combine both of my interest in one. Looking at the different websites dealing with graphic design they seem to be doing quite well.
Opening your sites to paid advertising is one. But this is only viable if you have a good traffic and a high page rank. Otherwise nobody will place their ads on your site. Another way is develop and sell your site.

Thanks...... I was thinking of just building my site up...Get some traffic and generate a little of income. Then sell the site to someone and see how much I can make from it.
If you're planning to earn off your websites, the best way would be to offer services instead of goods. That way other websites can do business with you too.
How about trying those earning opportunities online like adsense and affiliates? Others have been earning thousands thru their website, with your traffic, you can do that too.
The best way to make money off your website is to offer something that people would want. Make the website appealing.

That's really enlightening, you must've thought long and hard before you posted that. :rolleyes:
Adsense is a good way to make money, but they are closing more and more accounts due to click fraud and seizing whatever money you made.
You can always add affiliate banners for Amazon.com, Clickbank, etc to make some additional income. Just make sure you tailor whatever banners you add to what your website offers.
