federal debt relief programs- where to find them? ::::: There are not debtrelief programs for individual consumer debts, I'm afraid - however, thereare grants and some forms of financial aid here:

There may not be any Federal debt relief programs for individual consumersbut there is a debt relief industry that would help you with your unsecured debts - you can choose to do credit counseling or debt settlement.

If it's Federal Debt Relief - the company - it has mixed reviews. The negative ones would be their supposed "unwillingness to provide anything in writing", their "asking for sensitive information", and something about bad customer care (service).

Oh I see..thank you! What does it mean when a debt relief company has a mixed review? Should I avoid it look for another one ?
