What does the government have in debt relief for credit cards?- Bankruptcy.----I agree, although it is not recommended for consumers to file bankruptcy for creditcard debt - as the term DEBT RELIEF has a whole industry providing the alternativeto bankruptcy - which are credit counseling and debt settlement.

For credit card debts you don't need the government to solve them.Just like what the previous posts have stated. You can choose betweencredit counseling (Debt Management Plan) or debt settlement - according toyour account status and debt amount. If you owe less than $10k and you arestill current - try credit counseling. If it's more than that - do debt settlement. If you need guidance - in private - please feel free to fill out a form here at destroydebt.comYou won't be charged for it.
