my initial tmobile account balance was $785.24, the settlement company says that they can take out the two early termination fees ($400) and say that i can make two payments of $192.62 a month for a total of $385.25.... but will tmobile come back at me for the $400 after i sent the collection company $385.25?????? advice please? i asked if they could put it in writing, they said no.

Did you say a settlement company? As far as I know - if your debt amount is not $10,000 (credit card) you won't be accepted in the program.I wonder who you are dealing with ...

Although there are settlement companies that accept balances below $10,000 - the point is, it sounds as if whoever you are dealing with is not an honest entity. If you're really dealing with Tmobile or a legitimate collection agency they won't say no to a paper trail..
