Credit card debt discharge bankruptcyHi there, the simple answer is yes, but the discharge can be disputed by your creditors, by filing an adversary proceeding - under the ff. circumstances:-The card application was fraudulent.-The card was used with no intention to pay it.

Hello, may I ask why you are filing bankruptcy for credit card debt/s? Did you know that you don't need a bankruptcy discharge to get rid of your unsecured debts?

I agree with what's next, did you know that depending on your debt amount and the status of your account, you can avoid bankruptcy and its devastating impact on your credit? You can try these two debt relief alternatives:Credit counseling - if you owe $10,000 or less, accounts currentDebt settlement - if you owe $10,000 or more, accounts past due

Thank you guys, actually my accounts are past due and I do owe more than $10,000 -- I'm interested in that debt settlement program, but really I hear a lot of bad stuff about it. I don't know much, 'care to tell me the basics? For one, how much is it going to cost? How can I protect myself from being scammed?

Credit card debt bankruptcy discharge - or debt settlementThe basics? Debt settlement aims to lower your balance to more or less half of its original amount in 12-36 months. How much is it? Debt settlement companies will charge 15% of the total debt amount spread over 18 months or take a percentage of the settlement amount (20-25%)
