Hi, I looked them up at the bbb website for you, and here's what I got:Legal debt solutions Glendale, CA-This company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.-Business start date: 10/9/2008-Company's nature of business is providing loan modification services.-Our records indicate the company failed to respond to the one complaint the Bureau brought to its attention.  -C+ rating

Loan modification? Meaning they're not a debt settlement company? Also, isn't there a law recently signed in California prohibiting charging fees in advance for loan modifications unlawful?

Yes, it's called Senate Bill 94 signed October 11th, 2009,in which the lenders can charge after the consumer obtains loan modification, and not before.

Legal Debt Solutions in Glendale CA has a C+ rating? What are the implications of that? That there are better companies out there. Those with A+ ratings and no record of complaints, for example. On the other hand, an excellent rating doesn't guarantee success. The consumer's financial situation must be a match to the settlement company's prgram.Speaking of which, destroydebt.com can do that for free, match you up to the right company, just fill out a form!

I don't know what everyone is complaining about.  I used Legal Debt Solutions and it worked for me.  I guess it depends on your individual situation.  They have a bunch of success cases on their site

Jason I agree with your post. My family and I have used Legal Debt Solutions APC also. They got me trial period payments, then a permanent mod. They helped my sister out with her Bankruptcy. John Habashy's staff is great, they always call back and there fee;s are reasonable. I def recommend them to everyone.
