Wait sunflower seeds, what did you type in bbb.org?North American Debt Settlement Corporation or just North American Debt Settlement? It's the latter isn't it? They're also known as North American Debt Settlement, LLC...I was looking for reviews online, and have found out that they are at least a member of TASC.The Association of Settlement Companies...

North American Debt Settlement. I don't think there exists a North American Debt Settlement Corporation....Oh and to answer your other question: what to look for in a settlement company:-The settlement company's program must have a fast completion time. 12-36 months.-The program must be able to protect and improve the consumer's credit standing.-Must be a member of the Better Business Bureau, BBB, for at least 5 years.-Must also have a good standing with the Chamber of Commerce-A Member of TASC - The Association Of Settlement Companies and the IAPDA or theInternational Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators

To add to sunflower seed's post:Expect the fees to be 15% of the total debt amount  spread over 18 months or apercentage of the settlement amount (20-25%)--anything higher than that is bad news. Also, you can checkout the settlement companies' membership online here:BBB www.bbb.orgTASC www.tascsite.orgUSOBA www.usoba.orgIAPDA www.iapda.org

I would just like to say though that even if the company is one of the bests in the industry-it doesn't guarantee the success of the settlement. The consumer's situation and the company's program must match for everything to work out smoothly. And steps, if you have anymore questions, fill out a form here at destroydebt.com and avail of the free initial debt consultation.

I have one problem with this company. They called me on the phone and the person I talked to Winston was very rude. During his talk, I interrupted him to tell me I was not interested and he got very rude. I told him not to call me back and he told me that I called him which I did not. I am not looking for a debt settlement group.

NORTH AMERICAN DEBT SETTLEMENT OUT OUT OF NYC, N.Y. IS ONE OF YOUR TYPICAL BOTTOM FEEDERS IN THE INDUSTRY, WITH UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. THEY ARE NOT RATED AT ALL ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. THEY ARE NOT IAPDA CERTIFIED **(INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROFFESIONAL DEBT ARBITRATORS)**.  THEY ARE NOT PART OF USOBA, ** UNITED STATES OF BANKRUPTCY ALTERNATIVES**  YES WOW THEY ARE PART OF TASC ** THE ASSOCIATION OF SETTLEMENT COMPANIES WHICH IS A MEESLY $300 DOLLARS TO BECOME A MEMBER OF. WITHOUT EVERY PERSON TAKING THE CERTIFIED DEBT ARBITRATION COURSES WHO ACTUALLY REPRESENT A DEBT SETTLEMENT COMPANY IN GENERAL MEANS NONE OF THE SALES FLOOR IS EVER ACTUALLY TRAINED THE PROPER WAY, OR THE WAY A REPUTABLE COMPANY WOULD. THE COMPANY ITS SELF IS JUST NO GOOD, ANYONE THAT COMES ACROSS THIS COMPANY CONTACTING YOU SHOULD REALLY  RECONSIDER FINDING A REPUTABLE COMPANY OR YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF IN A WORSE SITUATION THAN YOU ARE ALREADY IN.

Whether it is North American Debt Settlement Corporation or another company -it would always get mixed reviews.
