Is there anyone on here who has student loans and if so, how do you handle paying them back?

Consolidate your loans. It makes your life easier and it brings down your rate. The one I'm under, Educational Loan Co., gives me a 2.5% reduction on my rate after 4 years of payments. That was the lowest I could find. You should also make sure you're paying over the minimum required payment on loans. The more the better too because then you're in debt over less time.

Yes. As student, i need to take student loan in my college.  All student in my college need to take it. If not, its hard for us to continue study at that college. I'm studying at good college and have better facilities at that place. No wonder its need high cost. Nothing i can do. Just accept and admit it. Thats why i working and study in same time to cover some others cost in my student life.I hope i can settle the debt after i got my real job soon!

Most of the loans given to students are paid after he or she graduated to the school he is studying. And there are differences in loans that is available there are those private ones given by non government companies and some are by government loans which you would work at the government after you finish studying as a payment of your loan.

I have got student loan for my engineering, now I am in my final year of my course. Right now iam paying only the interest for the loan and actual amount  has to be returned in monthly installations after my course gets over. So right now, not in a difficult situation and hopes it will go better, if we are placed in good jobs.

I have about 2 years of university left. I have already begun paying my loans off to avoid interest adding up. I plan to find grants and scholarships for the last year of my undergraduate as well as for my graduate studies.

I have a student loan from chase and currently my interest is deferred until i graduate.  Therefore when I get steady, full-time job I will pay back my student loan monthly over the time period allowed by Chase.
