I have been hearing so much from debt collectors and I want to know what the collection calls hours are?? They keep calling me day and night and this is so frustraitng!

The collection calls hours should only be from 8 am to 9 pm of the consumer's time zone. Were you contacted any later or earlier than that?

.....Because if you were contacted any earlier or later than the allotted collection calls hours, that would be a violation of the FDCPA, and you can file a complaint against the company who contacts you.

The allowable collection calls hours also vary in different states. In Georgia for example, the collector cannot contact the debtor via phone or in person after 10pm or before 5am.

Oh okay thanks for that. But how many times are the debt collectors allowed to call within the alloted collection calls hours?
