....and that is just so pathetic considering that I've been a longtime user of this but I just got in a really tough bind and I don't know what to do about this! Can anyone tell me what to do?

I'm sorry to hear that, paint pastel princess.

Would you mind telling us more about your situation? Do you have any disposable income as of the moment?

If you don't mind me asking, what are the "other debts?" Are your accounts in collections now? If your credit cards are in collections and you can't pay the minimum payments on credit cards, what you can do is enroll the account in a debt consolidation option, particularly in debt settlement, so you'd be able to at least start making payments on your loans little by little.

Can't pay the minimum payments on credit cards? How about getting a consolidation loan? Is that a good idea?

Here's how you can also talk to your creditors if you can't pay the minimum payments on credit cards: http://www.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/what-to-say-when-you-cant-pay-1267.php

Definitely NOT a good idea. Using a debt to pay off another debt is not only unwise, it's also unhealthy. It feeds on the tendency to borrow over and over and over, and doesn't kill the root of the compulsion to borrow.
