Google searches typically list BBB accredited credit repair agencies according to different areas; there isn't exactly a comprehensive list that covers all the companies around the US. But you can try using the BBB's search engine for that, it may help you.http://www.bbb.org/us/bbb-accredited-businesses/

Good for you that you are searching for BBB accredited credit repair organizations-- some credit repair companies would just jump at the chance of having unsuspecting consumers as clients to milk profit from.

A BBB accredited credit repair company should also not ask for fees up-front because that is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

In the first place, credit repair companies---whether they are BBB accredited credit repair organizations or otherwise--should charge their fees only after all the services have been completed. Some credit repair agencies charge as little as $20 to as much as $200--but be wary of those that ask for higher fees. They may just be after your money and disappear.

In the first place, credit repair can be done without hiring the services even of a BBB accredited credit repair organization. Common sense dictates that you know your credit history better than a third party. Instead of paying any amount of money to a credit repair agency, why not use those funds to pay for the debt instead?

In the final analysis, whether the credit repair company is BBB accredited or not, I believe the best way that any consumer can do credit repair is by working hard to get their bills paid in full, and on a timely basis.

Best way to do credit repair, in my opinion:Pay everything off in full, on time.
