Speaking of online debt relief help - if your debt is unsecured you can fill out a form here at destroydebt.com and avail of the free initial debt consultation. From the consultation, should you decide that settling your debt is the best move for you, you could also be matched up to a legitimate debt settlement company -- FREE OF CHARGE.

Just following up on Light and Shade with regards to debt type - if your debt type is unsecured (credit cards) then you are in luck - there are two effective debt relief programs available for you depending on your debt amount and account status. Debt settlement and credit counseling. And yes you can apply online. You can check the company out or agency's background online as well. You can do your transactions online -- just make sure that the company/agency is legitimate or accountable. Never release money unless you have a signed (by the authorized personnel) copy of the agreement.

Beware of online debt relief help - especially the ones that spam your inbox. The case should always be that, if you need a debt relief program/company, you're the one to seek, and not be hunted. If it feels that way - as if the advertising is too aggressive, be wary.I think the next relative question is, how to find a legitimate debt relief agency (?)
