A person can never have too many when it comes to credit card. How many credit cards do you have? Would you prefer a Visa or Mastercard?

I'm afraid that's misleading at best and patently false at worst. Even with zero balances, it is more than possible to have too many credit cards and having too many can affect your credit rating and the amount you pay for insurance

it depends on the person applying for a credit card.. it could also depend on your lifestyle.. i have two credit cards..i want another one but i dont think i can afford to have 3..so im sticking to two..

before you decide, ask yourself how many you can afford to pay

I think that one credit card is enough. I have four but I only use one, which is a Visa.

I also agree with some of the people above. 2 Credit Cards is enough. That is how many I have and I find it very easy to handle 2.

Like what dovic said, its better to have only one credit card. Since it less headache and you would also have the control to over spend your budget. Be wise everytime you use your credit cards. Theres no difference between Visa and Mastercard I guess.

I believe it depends on what you intend to use them for. If you only wish for life to be easy and not carry cash around, generally one credit card is enough for that. However, there are times, when people experience problems with the card so it's recommended to have 2 extra ones too.

I feel like a broken record here, but if you are carrying debt it is always better to carry it spread out over multiple credit cards. Your credit score will take a hit if you high a high balance to available credit ratio.

Its too risky if you have a number of credit cards though. But it depends if you can manage it and discipline yourself.
