I have had several cards. I have used them and gotten into trouble.
1 Good: car rentals, hotels, reservations
2 Bad: shopping, online ordering (Its just too easy)
3 Ugly: using them to help my business (Needless to say... the business failed)
So now I find myself dreading the bill collectors 15 times a day. I am doing my best to work with them, but I am failing horribly.
Lesson learned. Pay them off every month and only use them if you have to.

Credit Cards, handy but troubling.
Good: Payments Online or places where it is not good to carry around cash.
Bad: Large Payments, Shopping, Buying expensive make-up/clothes
Ugly: Not paying them off and letting the interest stack up.
It is very important to manage them well if you want to stay debt free.

Good: I use my card for purchasing online products and services
Bad : I tend to pay the minimum due
Ugly : I incur over the credit limit purchases
The credit card must be used wisely.

My husband love credit cards, We get credit card mail everyday. He takes and see what the interest rate is. If it is good he gets it. I just wish they would stop sending them to my house. When I get them I just throw them in the garbage.

Good : convenience for shopping and access to funds for emergency purposes
Bad: temptation to spend more than you can afford
Ugly: failure to resist temptation leading to debt trap

I use credit cards only when I go traveling when carrying cash in a place you're not familiar yet seems to be a bit dangerous. And I try to avoid online shopping as well.

I believe credit cards are good, for convenience that is. They're bad if you use them for loans. And they get ugly if your balance gets way out of hand. Credit cards should be used responsibly otherwise it can get you bankrupt.

Good: you can have other sorts in case you are short of cash at the moment, so its about convenienceBad:if you wont pay on time and interest accumulatesUgly:if you can't control your shopping moments.

Another good use of credit cards is for emergencies. You never know when you will need cash to buy medicine or pay for hospitalization. A credit card will come in handy to get cash advance

credit cards are good to have but a good thing to do is to pay more on the bill when it comes.
