So does it mean that I'm safe with Debt Settlement America in Dallas Texas? If so, how much should I expect to pay them for their services?

I think they follow the industry standard when it comes to fees. Debt settlement companies will usually charge 15% of the total debt amount, spread the fees over 18 months or they will take a percentage of the settlement amount, usually between 20-25%.
