We all know that we are in a recession period. Emergency situations cannot be avoided. Most companies is already closing. many individuals are already loosing their job. Do you think it is necessary for us to grab credit card today? With my own opinion, I prepare not to. What if i was not able to settleit? It will incurr charges and it will create another problem. What about you? What is your opinion on this?

Is it advisable to apply for a credit card during this time?I think it depends on your needs. If you can get around or go about without it, then by all means, use other cards instead - or cash. Forget about what they say about people carrying cash -- that you're either a dealer or a hooker ..or some kinda criminal if you only deal with cash...

Is it advisable to apply for a credit card during this time? That's an interesting question actually. I do not have a credit card..because I haven't had a need for it--but lately, I'm thinking of perhaps getting one for online payments and purchases. If I could only do those without a credit card, I'd be one happy consumer but --it's a bit impossible at the moment. So I think, you should have at least one credit card.

I guess with the economy in such a bad shape, it is advisable to change one's life style--carrying multiple credit cards seems to be part of that said life style--As for settling it, it is possible to settle your credit card debts via debt settlement - if your accounts are already past due and if your total balance amounts to $10,000.
