I don't see the point in doing it anyway because all the money I pay to the creditors goes into their pockets and I as a consumer am not benefiting from this practice!!!

Skinny Musical: I understand that this situation may be hard or frustrating for you, but you signed an agreement with your creditor stating that you will agree to pay for interest and any fees in the event that you would not be able to pay for your account. The reason why the creditor decided to extend credit to you was because of an assurance that you would complete your end of the bargain. Now, "why should I pay my credit cards," you ask? Because you are fulfilling your end of the bargain as a consumer.

"Why should I pay my credit cards?"Because failure to do so will result on a lot of hassles on your end--including your credit score drastically dropping.

Why should I pay my credit cards?I agree with the abovementioned--you run the risk of having a bad credit record. IF you aren't able to pay your credit cards, your accounts will be charged-off or written off as bad debts by your creditors. Charge-offs stay on your credit report for as much as seven years.
