Options:-Go through credit counseling and then do a d.i.y. debt settlement.-If you don't think you can do that, hire the services of the pros - enroll in a debt settlement program.

How I got out of my debts .. I agree with that first post. Another answer could be "I limited my credit cards to two & I started dealing with cash ..."

How I got out of my debts - if you have vices, that causes you to spend uncontrollably, then get help.There are threads here at destroydebt.com that tackled that -- there are also threads here that talk about debt and mental illnesses. So if you are saying that "you can't help yourself" then let somebody help you.
