how long can a credit card judgment be collected?I am not sure what this question means...But if this is about the statute of limitations on debt collection, then it depends on which state you are in. Once the statute of limitations on your debt is up, the creditors can no longer sue you for a judgment.

One of the more popular questions related to this is, how long can a credit card judgment be collected in California?The usual statute of limitations on debt collection is 6 years but in California, it's just 4 years.

seven years or until the governing statute of limitations has expired, whichever is the longer period." Certain states allow a judgment to be renewed. In Florida, a judgment is valid for 20 yeas, but must be re-recorded after the first 10 years. The re-recording could possibly trigger the judgment to appear on a consumers credit report.

I think what narayan wants to know by "how long can a credit card judgment be collected?" is - until when or how long is that judgment valid once the court awards that to the creditors.The answer is 5 years but I'm not too sure. Perhaps a lawyer can verify this.

the way I read it, OP wants to know how long can a judgment be enforced for. In New York it's 20 years with liens on real property expiring after 10 years. All depends on the State you live in though.
