Brite Solutions, Inc is a member of
TASC or the Association of Settlement Companies--which basically means that that's a good thing. Having a company receive membership from a third-party accrediting body entails that the company provides high quality standards to its clients.

There's a Brite Solutions Inc in Tennessee and another one in Florida. I'm trying to figure out which one you're tlaking about.

The Brite Solutions Inc in Tennessee seems to me like a utilities maintenance company, which is entirely different from the debt settlement company that you're looking for, which is based in Florida. I found that out thru their BBB listing. Speaking of which, the debt settlement company Brite Solutions, Inc. does not have a BBB listing. I would steer clear of this company if I were you--having a record with the BBB is important, especially if you're looking for a company that complies with industry standards with regard to integrity and good business practice.

I missed to mention earlier that the company is an Accredited Member of the TASC .... I'm sure that should count for something, yes?

To some extent it does, WonderGurl, but keep in mind that the BBB caters to all types of businesses. BBB membership ensures customers and gives them the assurance that the company is after their best interest. I'm not saying that the TASC doesn't do that per se, but for the most part, BBB accreditation is vital in all cases. We cannot just compromise quality, especially at the expense of the consumer.

So it's possible for the company to be a scam, then?

It's not safe to generalize that all non-members of the BBB are up to no good; I am also not saying that Brite Solutions, Inc, is a scamming company. But membership with the BBB is essential especially in the arena of establishing trust between the business and the consumer. If I were a consumer, having the assurance that the company I am working with--and paying for--is accredited by a company that has high standards in terms of customer satisfaction.

Fortunately there are still companies out there that are accredited by both TASC and the BBB~ and one of the ways that you can do so is thru filling out a form on DestroyDebt.com. From there, you'll be matched with a qualified provider. The service is also free so it won't hurt.
