Online search on Missouri Bankruptcy? Here's what I got:
-Provides court forms, court rules, full text of published opinions and rulings, judicial profiles, judge's procedures, fee schedule, description of mediation program, Electronic Case Filing information and PACER information. PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) is a service of the federal courts and provides case information on the Internet. -There is an 8-cent-a-page fee for access to docket sheets and other case information. Some courts provide free access to opinions on PACER. And the following links might be of help too:
www.moeb.uscourts.gov for the Eastern Bankruptcy
www.moed.uscourts.gov/ for the Eastern District Court
www.mow.uscourts.gov/ for Western District and Western Bankruptcy
www.mow.uscourts.gov/New_Opinions.html for opinions organized by judge for the District and Bankruptcy courts.

Incidentally, and instead of bankruptcy, a Missouri search cough out this news about a debt settlement company:
"Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster has taken legal action against a Texas debt settlement company, filing a lawsuit against Credit Solutions of America for illegally charging consumers for debt relief services the company never provided..."

Hi, thank you all for the response! It's actually my husband who's been contemplating filing. I already said no so he can study bankruptcy on his own. Thank you for those links!

Wise woman! Bankruptcy is actually-usually the last debt relief option that financial experts would advice. Depending of course if you need the automatic stay provision or not. Are your debts mostly unsecured? If so, your husband does not have to file bankruptcy..
