Washington bankruptcy forms are free and they are available on this site:http://www.wawb.uscourts.gov/posts.htm?f=15It looks like you're just about to file bankruptcy and are practicing...have you gone through credit counseling yet?

Thanks! And no it's not for me, it's for my father. I'm just trying to help out. 'Think he's filing without a lawyer. He said he can't afford one.

You might want to invite your father over to this thread and have him fill out one of the forms for free debt consultation. Filing bankruptcy is expensive and it can be dismissed if he files his bankruptcy forms incorrectly. Perhaps speaking with a debt expert would save him from all the bankruptcy expenses.

Here's another link that you can check out, if you can't afford the full services of a lawyer, and to avoid errors with the forms, http://articles.directorym.com/Bankruptcy_Petition_Preparers_Washington-r935276-Washington.htmlIt's a directory of bankruptcy petition preparers in Washington.

I think instead of asking about Washington bankruptcy forms - you might want to instead know what are the alternative debt relief options available for your father..

Debt settlement can reduce the balance to more or less half in 12-36 months.

Just to add to that, if you are wondering how much it is going to cost: Debt settlement companies will usually charge 15% of the total debt amount and spread the fees out over 18 months. Or, they will take a percentage of the settlement amount, usually between 20-25%.

Those are if the debts are mostly unsecured but if your father is convinced that bankruptcy is the right option for him, let him know that the following debts are non-dischargeable under any bankruptcy:-Child support or other debts related to a divorce settlement-Certain personal injury liability, such as damages related to a drunk driving accident-Taxes for which returns have not been filed or that are less than three years old-Student loans-Debts related to fraud
