The debt secrets book that you may be referring to would be written by Kevin Trudeau. Apparently his book states that the "debt secrets" anyone can have is getting a government grant.

. . . and that's no secret, really, but then again, one really cannot use a government grant to pay off debts. Government grants after all are not designed for those purposes. What you can do is be a little more creative and apply for a small business grant. From there, you can use the income garnered to pay off your debts. Since it's a grant, you won't need to pay anything back to the government.

I don't know much about this Debt Secrets Book, but I know he has had several lawsuits filed against him, and I believe it was in 1996 when the FTC ordered him to stop selling a product that had undertones that it could prevent cancer or something along those crazy lines.

Debt secrets book????? Like The Book of Shadows? Wow...I'm sorry, it's just that I sort of have a minor in advertising -- it's funny how they come up with these names and tactics..but unfortunately many consumers still get victimized. All I can say is..if it sounds funny..it probably is..that should be the consumer's cue to go find another book..or debt relief option. Being in debt is not funny..so there's no funny solution to it too.Destroydebt.com offers a free debt consultation. Just fill out a form and speak with a debt expert.
