What sort of debts are you trying to eliminate? Secured or unsecured? And do you already have a debt relief solution in mind?

What do you mean unsecured? Credit cards? Yes I've about $13,000 in credit card debts and also something close to a hundred thousand in student loan. I was thinking bankruptcy..

I'd seriously advice against bankruptcy as it can really damage your credit. Why don't you try debt settlement instead? A $13,000 worth of credit card debt would qualify for their program.

I agree, and bankruptcy would not discharge your student loans anyway. Are your accounts already past due?

I think so..yes almost of my accounts are past due, I haven't been able to pay lately as I've lost my other job. How can I eliminate the student loan debt? And how does this debt settlement work? How long will it take to finish.

With bankruptcy at least, I'm done with everything you know?

Are your student loans federal or private? Anyway, you can try to negotiate your debts with your lenders. See if they'd agree to having your payments automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. And it would also help to ask if you would qualify for any other incentives that your lender is offering.

Would you recommend debt consolidation loans services in Florida to eliminate a consumer's debt?

To answer The Question, No debt consolidation loans/services are not advisable in eliminating student loan debts because different loan repayment plans, like -(standard loan repayment plan, extended repayment option, graduated repayment program or income contingent repayment plan) -have different interest rates.

That would cause the debt amount to rise and and then cause the plan to stretch. The longer the payments are stretched out the more interest the consumer will pay.

You can also research on the Federal Student Loan Repayment Program. If you work for any federal program or organization you can avail of any federal incentives to the tune of $10,000 up to a maximum of $60,000 a year. Bu that's just for student loans. So in exchange for paying off your loans, you must work for the federal agency for a set period of time, usually three years.
