debtcaretaker- not all debt settlements have "legal counsel." You are implying that all settlement firms have attorneys on staff and that is extremely misleading. Almost as misleading as your website. On that website- it states that you can get collection calls and harassment to stop, interest rates reduced, late fees stopped, and that lawsuits can be prevented by signing up with your company. Honestly, this is one of the most misleading websites I have ever seen advertising debt settlement. Unfortunately, it is material like this that gives reputable companies in the industry a bad name. Anyone in the industry with a head on their shoulders knows a settlement company does not negotiate interest rates (unless they are setting up a payment plan), can't eliminate late fees (they accrue on past due balances), or prevent lawsuits at will. The try and reduce the principle amount of debt owed. Not to mention your site isn't even presented in grammatically correct English. You may want to start there.
