All you have to do is select the state (judicial district) that you live in and a list of credit counseling services will appear. Once you have the list, you may want to supplement your search by taking a look at the company's profile with the Better Business Bureau. Their website is www.bbb.org, and there you can get an idea of the company rating, how long they have been in business, how many complaints they have etc.
