I'm curious, too, about this

Federal Debt Consolidation Services has received a D+ rating from the BBB. According to the rating explanation, customers must do their research carefully in light of this company's programs. The BBB also adds that the consumer must "feel certain that the reasons for our concerns about it would not negatively affect your transaction with it."
Surprisingly there are no recorded complaints for the company. What gives?

Kyera: Accreditation serves as a way for consumers to be assured that the company adheres to standards set by a third-party regulatory agency. These regulatory bodies also ensure good working relationships between the consumers and the companies.

The Albuquerque BBB gives Money Mgt International (also known as CCCS, or Consumer Credit Counseling Services) an A+ rating, and has been accredited with the Bureau since 1999. While there have been 14 complaints in the last three years, they have all been resolved accordingly.

But even if a company gives one of the top consolidation services out there, it doesn't mean that it is the right company for the consumer. What these rankings can do is point the consumers to the non-scamming companies but they do not ensure debt relief success.
There has to be chemistry or working relationship between debt consolidation services and the consumer.

True, and I believe that;s what the BBB is for. They function to share any information or feedback that previous customers have had with the company.
Besides accreditation can help determine the specific quality procedures and standards that a company complies with.

How much are the fees that the top debt consolidation services charge? If anything, should they even be charging anything from their clients? As far as i know they are non-profit.

I'm really not sure what non-profit means when they are asking for even a small fee..But whether or not a company is considered as a top debt consolidation company out there, it would normally charge $25-$50 for its services. Anything higher than that should make the consumer suspicious.
