Binomial Nomenclature --- not all of the non-profit companies in the market are legitimate. Some of them may just claim to be non-profit in order to gain clients, but in reality, these companies may ask for "voluntary contributions." Non-profit status never necessarily equates to being under the best interest of the client. While these organizations may exist with the purpose of being a public service, some have used it to their advantage instead of the common good.
