I've heard of this debt relief company and I want to ask what you guys think of them. If i enroll on their program? Will I really be worry-free?

Lady in Waiting, the company does not have accreditation with the Better Business Bureau. I suspect they may be a newly-opened organization. According to their official website, they have been less than five years in operation.

They're a member of TASC, though, so I guess that helps somewhat. Maybe that can make you worry less, if not be worry-free?

According to their Dun and Bradstreet listing, their debt relief program lasts for three years or less. Plus I can't find a decent review on these guys, either, they really must be new in the business.

I spent about a month reviewing several different debt programs out there from credit counseling to debt settlement and Worry Free Debt Relief was the company I ended up enrolling with. The debt consultant I worked with, Brett, was very knowledgeable and was one of the only people that seemed to "shoot me straight" and honest about the negatives of all of the different programs out there
including their own. He was not pushy and even insisted that I get my husband on the line so he could make sure that he explained everything to both of us. I have been in the program now for about 7 months and everything he told me would happen has been 100% correct. I have even settled 2 of my credit cards so far. I am very happy and even referred my mother to them. I would say to make sure you research several options but I would give them a chance. If you talk to Brett tell him Debbie W. from Florida sent you. They give referral fees too! : )

What is the best way for the consumer to have a worry free debt relief enrollment? What can the consumer do to ensure that the company would not run away with his/her money?

If the consumer has already determined that debt settlement is the right debt relief solution for his/her financial situation--he/she should check the following sites for the settlement company's membership/accreditation/ratings, etc.BBB www.bbb.orgTASC
www.tascsite.orgUSOBA www.usoba.orgIt's also a plus of the settlement company is member of the Chamber of commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce. Checking the settlement company's membership with those above mentioned regulating bodies can eliminate the the consumer's anxieties over fly by night companies- but it doesn't guarantee a worry free debt relief (settlement) program.

There really is no guarantee for a worry free debt relief solution--as long as the debt is not yet cleared--the consumer would always find something to worry about.

The consumer can also check for the settlement company's membership with the IAPDA www.iapda.orgI agree with x and y, as long as the consumer is in a debt relief program, he/she would really not be worry free. Not until the whole thing is done, and he/she gets the proof of the settlement.
