Everytime I buy new things, I always check on their warranties. Its very important as it might save you a few bucks in the future.

What do you mean extended warranty? We usually invest on computers and they only gave us around a year for warranties on parts but not on services.

i was given a warranty on services for my computer. i got my computer assembled and i choose those parts which had maximum warranty like for hard disk it was 5 years, cd drive 3 years and so on. and i dont regret my decision now

Extended Warranties are warranties that are beyond the usual warraties were getting. Example the usual warranties we get from new purchased appliances is 1 year, if you request for an extended warranties they'll give you an additional 6 more months warranty with extra cost.

The warranty is the most important thing, you should look onto while buying the new products! It should have minimum 1 year of warranty!
They are definitely worth the money for bigger things like appliances and computers. Go for the extended warranty everytime. The one time you don't, it will bite you.
The extended warranties that most places like Best Buy and Circuit City offer are a huge rip off. The chance of the item breaking down in the time frame of the warranty does not justify the cost.

My car's warranty just expired. I have a Hyundai, so I had the five year coverage. I'm just waiting for it to break down now. I've had a problem that they haven't been able to find for over a year. It's intermittent, so I've driven it in and had it go away while I was driving to have it checked out. I'm sure now it will become permanent.

these car manufacturers over here are very smart. those guys give warranties like your car shouldnt be these many years old or your car should have metered less than these many kms. how on earth would a car require maintenance withint such a short span of time, the time whihc these caompanies ghive. once you have crossed that limit then all warranties expire.

We should always go for the products which is held with warranty. More over we should get a proper working warranty for the products of electronics appliances and other accessories. It makes some useful saving and saves some bucks in the future. Its always very good to have a working warranty.
