The more risk, the greater the chance of making a lot of money. For people who are just coming out of debt, increasing savings and making sure you won't get back into debt are probably more important than making investments. The exception would probably be a house or condominium, because you get a place to live as well as having an investment.

investments boil down to the age old saying " you will by the sword.. you die by the sword ".

I would recommend to invest in the land properities, because the land rates are been increased in day to day life. So it would be better to invest in land, which will be more secure and we can have a huge amount of profit through the land investment.

Investing is personal choice. Some people are much more risk-averse than others. Some people just shouldn't invest because they are jumping in with the wrong mindset (hint: get-rich-quick is the wrong mindset for investing).

Your investment portfolio really should be made up of solid assets that YOU feel comfortable investing in - not what every one else is tipping.

After all - if they're tipping the next big thing, why aren't they millionaires themselves yet? Ignore them all. Do your own thing in your own way - after YOU have done your own research on it.

It's your money after all

Didn't think so. ;-)  The point is every asset class has it's ups and downs.  You have to diversify.

If I have money and can make the initial payments, I would invest in properties. As properties appreciates with the rise in inflations, it protect your money value against inflation. Should the price of properties you bought come down, you still have the properties to rent. Compare it with  shares. It  can become  a piece of useless paper if the company that you bought into went bankrupt.
