Ever? I have some credit card debt and really have no idea of how to get rid of it. Any suggestions would be great.

Need Help- it isn't going to go away on its on that's for sure. Do you have a plan to pay off your credit card debt? That would be one way to handle the situation. You know there are credit counseling and debt settlement companies that could potentially help you with your situation. How much is it that you owe? Are you able to make all of your monthly payments? If you can provide some more information I may be able to give you some helpful advice.

I know that right now I have 6 different credit card accounts. I think the total amount that I owe is right aroun $7 or $8 K. I am current on all of my monthly payments and I bring in a fairly healthy income. It just seems like I pay every month and nothing happens to the balances you know?

Ok. That's really not all that bad. You don't owe a ton, and it is a good thing that you are current on all of your payments. From what you are telling me it sounds like your interest rates are probably pretty high since you can't get anywhere with the principle amount of debt. I would say that you could look into getting some help from a credit counseling agency. I know they work with people's creditors to try and reduce the interest so the person can pay off the debt faster. Sounds a lot like what you need right now!

Yeah definately man- you should get some help wth those interest rates. Have you talked to any companies yet? I have heard about this one company Credit Solutions of America, apparently they are a major player in the credit counseling arena. Maybe give them a call? Truth is I really do not know much about them.

Sorry- I saw in another thread that that Credit Solutions of America is a settlement company. It may be better to just fill out a form on this website to get a free consultation.

CSA seems to be having legal problems. You may want to research them before making any commitments.

Credit card debt won't go away unless you pay it. However, if you haven't paid it in three or more years, it's possible that the statute of limitations will expire...so the credit card companies or collectors can't sue you to get the balance. Also, debts stay on your credit report for at least 7 years from the date of the last activity.
